Battery Chargers & Power Supplies
We build smart battery chargers and industrial and custom power supplies, plus a controller that brings older chargers up to date.

SBC-600 · SBC-620
Smart battery charger controller
Many healthy chargers are taken out of service only because their control cards can no longer be replaced. This controller fits most thyristor chargers and turns them into modern units. The SBC-620 upgrades three-phase chargers.

SMART-128
Smart single- and three-phase battery charger
Its HP-PC128 controller follows the charging curve for the battery type and count, and controls load voltage with multi-stage dropper diodes.

PSB-1000
Portable switching battery charger
Charges lead-acid and alkaline batteries in the 24 V range, designed to the Iranian petrochemical standard for battery chargers.

Single- and three-phase thyristor battery chargers
Low-power chargers are usually single-phase, and a single-phase unit also suits sites without three-phase power. The industrial three-phase chargers run on our smart digital controller, with fast, accurate voltage and current loops. Where size and weight matter, we build switching chargers too.
- RTB-100
RTB-100
Battery charger for turbine starting systems
On some gas turbines the hydraulic pump motor draws about 80 A at start-up, and repeated starts drain the batteries. The RTB-100 has two independent control loops: it charges at up to 40 A while supplying up to 100 A of load without interrupting the charge.

STB-2408S
24 V voltage stabilizer
Provides a stable supply for PLCs, HMIs and sensitive automation equipment, and mounts on a DIN rail.
- SDS-120
SDS-120
Battery selector and special power supplies
The SDS-120 manages two chargers and two battery banks and connects either bank to either charger. Hoorpendar also builds switching supplies for vibration-monitoring systems, 24 V DC power cards and amplifiers, 127 V DC selector panels and UPS cards.

Types of industrial battery charger
In substations, power plants and oil and gas facilities, a battery bank keeps protection relays, control circuits and emergency lighting running when the supply fails, and the battery charger keeps it full. The thyristor charger (rectifier) is the most common industrial type. We build single-phase units for low power and sites without three-phase supply, and three-phase units for higher currents.
The SMART-128 smart charger follows the charging curve for the battery type and count, with float, boost and initial modes. Where size and weight matter we build switching chargers such as the portable PSB-1000. For gas turbine starting systems the RTB-100 charges the battery while it also feeds the hydraulic start pump.
Voltage and current range
Single-phase chargers are built from 6 to 250 V DC and up to 5 kW, and three-phase chargers up to about 200 A. The output voltage is chosen to suit your battery bank, from 24 V DC for instrumentation to 110 V DC and above for substations and power plants.
Upgrading older chargers
Many thyristor chargers are healthy apart from a control card that can no longer be replaced. The SBC-600 smart controller fits these chargers and adds an LCD, PID control, a fault log and Modbus; the SBC-620 does the same for three-phase units. The SDS-120 battery selector manages two chargers and two battery banks.
Custom builds and support
Voltage, current, input type and cabinet size are set to the project’s specification. Support starts by phone or WhatsApp, and when needed our engineers come to site to install, commission or find faults. We installed and commissioned the SBC-620 controllers in Masjed Soleyman ourselves.
We install, commission and support this equipment in Ahvaz and across Khuzestan. Our projects and support in Khuzestan
